For Heather, the most memorable part of the wedding day was taking photos with Ian in the woods, while he whispered jokes in her ear. “Also, being able to share that day with my grandma and Skyping my grandpa for the ceremony was a very special part of our day,” she recalls. For Ian, he fondly remembers excitedly waiting in the groom’s room and feeling so “anxious to marry my best friend.” The day was even more special for Ian because “my grandfather and grandmother both were able to attend the ceremony, as well as the reception and share the dance floor with me and my wonderful bride.” Adding a personalized and festive touch to the outdoor celebration were the unique lawn games – all made from scratch by the couple – for their guests to play.
