Kathryn Ann Gilson and Thomas C. Seitz III

June 14, 2017

When taking in the views of the North Cascades, Tom surprised Kathryn with the view of a different rock – an engagement ring. “Kathryn was overjoyed and refused to take the ring off for the rocky climb back down,” says Thomas. Kathryn and Thomas shared their wedding with just their immediate family, keeping it close-knit. Kathryn most remembers the intimacy of the ceremony and exploring the mountains while taking photos. The couple decided to extend their wedding to two days “to take full advantage of the experience and beauty that Alaska has to offer by chartering a helicopter and having our wedding photos taken in the places we love to explore most,” Kathryn says, “Landing in areas on the Knik Glacier and surrounding mountain tops was a breathtaking experience!”
