Meghan & Noah
June 1, 2025
Bride's name: Meghan Scott
Groom's name: Noah Winsor
How they met: “My husband and I met on a blind date. Our mutual friend had been trying to set us up for over six months and we both kept saying no. Finally, we agreed and when we first saw each other in my driveway as he was picking me up for our first date, we both knew. We've been together every day since.”
Number of guests: Around 180
Wedding colors: “Jewel-toned chaos,” says Meghan. “I love color and lively funky pieces so whatever my husband and I liked, we made it happen (with a lot of help from our families).”
Unique and special aspects of the day: “Special aspects I added as the bride was a reserved seat sign for my late brother, and my late uncle. My husband and I value family very, very much so we thought it would be meaningful to have both of our grandpas pray over the food at the reception. Something unique we did was have a cigar bar as we both really love cigars. It was a big hit.”
Most memorable moment: “I remember hearing my favorite song playing from Pride and Prejudice (the one where Mr. Darcey is walking through the field to declare his love for Elizabeth),” recalls Meghan. “The wind was blowing gently and I was grabbing onto my dad’s arm for dear life. My heart was pounding and then I saw my best friend, love of my life and my reason for living at the end of the aisle and I could not believe that I was so fortunate enough to fall in love with someone sweeter than honey and loves like Jesus. I get goose bumps to this day when I replay that moment of disbelief, I am the luckiest woman in the world.”
Funniest moment: “Just about everything that happened on the dance floor. The groomsmen got the grandparents to shake some booty, shirts were coming off, ties were thrown in the air like lassos everyone was living their best life and having so much fun. My one request as the bride was that people stayed on the dance floor and they did not disappoint.”
Three words that best describe their day: “Breathtaking, romantic, and oh so much fun!”
If they had the chance to do it again, what they would do differently: “To me, it was perfect. I don’t think I would change that day at all. But if I was talking to a bride to be, I would say BE IN THE MOMENT! Before you know it, the day will be over. All the work you put into this day needs to be enjoyed by you and your partner! Soak it up!”
