Nestled in Moose Pass in the heart of Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula, the Inn at Tern Lake offers couples a beautiful and intimate setting for an authentic Alaska wedding experience. Surrounded by the towering Kenai Mountains, the property provides a stunning natural backdrop for ceremonies and celebrations, with weddings offered year-round to showcase Alaska’s beauty in every season.

 

Family-owned and operated, the Inn specializes in relaxed, nature-inspired weddings with a highly personalized approach. Couples can exchange vows outdoors with sweeping mountain views, then celebrate with an indoor reception for up to 58 guests in the Inn’s warm and inviting Great Room, or host a larger outdoor reception for up to 120 guests under a tent on the grounds.

 

What truly sets us apart is the level of service and care provided. Our venue comes fully staffed to assist with setup and cleanup, allowing couples to be fully present and enjoy their day. Our in-house catering team, with over 20 years of experience, provides fresh, locally inspired meals and includes full-service staff along with all dishware and glassware — so you don’t have to lift a finger. We also welcome outside caterers for added flexibility.

 

With on-site accommodations for approximately 20 guests, the Inn creates a relaxed, full weekend experience for couples and their closest family and friends. We work closely with each couple to bring their vision to life in one of Alaska’s most scenic and welcoming settings.
